We just celebrated Jake’s 2nd birthday!
Jacob turned 2 this past Saturday. He and 30 of his closets friends and family celebrated with a Carnival party!
There were games, crafts, face painting, balloon animals, a huge prize table…and Elmo cake AND cupcakes! It was quite an event, and Jake had a blast. .JPG)
It was so nice to see everyone participate in the wearing of “clown noses” for picture time, and hopefully everyone filled up on all the goodies. Popcorn, hotdogs, snow cones, peanuts, salt water taffy...oh so good!
I’m so proud of my little man. During present time, he was polite and thanked each person for the gift they gave. Although he didn’t care for the clothes as much as we did, he was still a good sport. He really enjoyed the idea of pulling tissue paper out of the
bag and being able to throw it on the floor (probably cause this doesn’t happen at home!!). After a few minutes, he realized he was the center of everyone’s attention and took a moment to show off! By giving raspberries (you know. the tongue hanging out, wagging up and down, making a fun noise!) it seemed to make everyone laugh, with in return, encouraged him to do it more!!
It was a great day, and I hope everyone had a good time. Thanks again to all who were able to join us.
