Fathers are such an integral part of a child’s life. Myself, Scott and Jake are very lucky to have such awesome fathers! This year to celebrate, we had two celebrations!
On Saturday, we had Scott’s father and his brother’s family over for a cook out. We all had a great time playing in Jake’s new bounce castle, playing hillbilly golf, and hanging out. (Oh, and we can’t forget the tractor rides!)

On Sunday, we headed to my sister’s house for a family get-together. We had chicken (from our flock) and a pitch-in style meal with enough to feed an army! After our bellies all settled, we all went out to swim, play corn hole, and jump in Jake’s new bounce castle. For being a pretty cool summer, the day was perfect! Hopefully all the fathers there knew just how much we all care about them.
